Actually, I've had it for about two weeks, I've just been so busy at work.

I work at a little restaraunt right down the road from where I live. It's a fairly small place, but it's always busy and very fast paced. I've been there about a month and a half and was recently promoted to manager. That officially makes this the best paying job I have ever had.  I like it, too. We recently hired two new employees and they are both very good and I get along pretty well with everyone I work with, not a must, but it sure makes work more plesant!

I STILL don't have a car. I have really, really, got to find one. I don't care if it looks like it may fall apart at any moment, as long as it gets me back and forth the few miles I need to go to work everyday. I work everyday except Fridays (Might take a Thursday or something off next week though) and I work from 1 to 9 pm (Except on Sundays, its 7 am to 4 pm then,) so it's not easy to find a ride everyday. I want a minivan or a station wagon, but that'll come if I ever manage to save any money lol.

So, Valentine's Day is tomorrow.  Happy Valentine's Day!  I'm working a double tomorrow so I have absolutely no plans other than work lol. But, I am off today, so I'm thinking I'm going to wait for lil Miss Bree to get home from school, then I'm going to take her to wal-mart and let her pick out a present, give her allowance and let her buy something she doesn't need at all but feels like she has to have (lol, kids...) and then maybe go out to dinner or a movie with her and Tim.

I actually have a savings account, for the first time in like 10 years. Granted, there's practically nothing in there, but that's a big step for us. It's a start, a step in the right direction, and that's something!  Life is expensive and hard, but so worth it.

Well, I guess I should go do some visitin' and then get off here and clean before we go out for the evening. Thank you for reading, and I hope you a lovely Valentine's Day and weekend!

I really enjoyed my visit, but its always good to be home.
Court went better than I hoped. The official charge was knowingly driving on a suspended license which carries a maximum penalty of one year jail and 2500 dollar fine. The judge wouldnt give a continuance to get a lawyer so I pled guilty but added that I had neuer been noified that my license could be or was suspended and the state had to drop it. There was just no way I could have known. So, I was FREE! Thank God!

I am simply elated to be on my laptop and actually be on the internet, on my laptop and not my cell phone. I am so stoked. About that.

I'm back in Maryland, just til tomorrow afternoon. I have court tomorrow morning. Not at all stoked about that because I will be appearing without a lawyer. So hopefully, I will be able to get a continuance so that I can get a public defender. My first application for one was apparently lost in the mail which made me incredibly un happy. But if I am unable to get a continuance, I will be pleading guilty to driving without a license. I totalled a truck I was driving a few months ago and by the grace of God I wasn't injured. The truck hit a telephone pole and snapped it in half and I'm afraid the truck did not live and there was no hope of resurecting it at all in the future.  But anyway.

I'm glad to be here. Tim, Bree and I are staying at one of my friends. Bree and I lived with here earlier this year. I hadn't seen them though in a few months so I'm thankful for being abe to see them now, especially sice it's so close to the holidays. The best gift they have ever givn me has always been the gift of their company.

We got a Christmas Tree Friday! I had signed up for a Fibromyalgia study at Wake Med and they paid me for it, I got the check Friday. I had completely forgotten it was even coming. So that was pretty full of win if I do say so.  It was pre-lit so we just threw some garland and candy canes on it, not extravagant, but it will certainly do the job. It's a Christmas Tree!!!

I guess that's all for now. I'm gonna to try to get another of these posted tomorrow before we leave to go back to NC.

This is becoming quite an addictive show for me.
It got me thinking about what I would do if I had that kind of money. Not if someone gave me some money, but rather if I had it to give. Which made me think more and its all sort of funny.
I dont even have a winter coat. We dont have a Christmas tree and Im so simple that I sit around daydreaming about what I wish I had the means to do. What I should be doing is selling my blood or organs so I can pay my rent and get my kid something. Uh. Im far too, I dunno the word. Thats it for now.

That probably sounds like an odd boast. Ive just been feeling awful and this is one thing I can think of that I like about myself. Men and women compliment them. They are long and even and always well manacured. People are always asking if they are real and who does them. I do and I do a very good job. I love my nails lol.
